3 Update the scanner settings as desired.

4 Click next to File Options to expand and view the list of available options.

5 Update the file options as desired.

6 In the Profiles group, click Save As to open the Save Profile As window.

 If one of the standard preconfigured profiles is selected when you update

the settings, the prefix “My” is automatically applied to the profile name.

 If a user-created profile is selected when you update the settings, the

existing profile name is used.

7 In the Save Profile As window, do one of the following, as applicable:

 Accept the profile name with the “My” prefix.

 Assign a new profile name. See the table below for a list of invalid

characters for profile names.

8 Click OK to save the profile name.

The newly saved profile becomes the active profile.
